Cronos was made by Hentschel of Hamburg and made high grade watches and several for the German military in the late 1930s and early 1940s . The movement was made by A.Schild of Switzerland and is a very high grade movement. Very collectible and keeping good time in such original condition.! Desirable Ulysse Nardin "CORPS OF ENGINEERS" watch. In the early 1900s the Corp of Engineers commissioned high grade watches for the Corp.This is a nice addition to any military collection! Subsidiary seconds.. Rare Ulysse Nardin watch made for the US Corps of Engineers, this was a time when each branch of the military would order their own supplies. Very collectible and even more so because of the rare number #11111. The case is not polished and could be if requested .! (Ref rm1709) $841 Vacheron & Constantin - 20j,manual, [movement], excellent+ 14k, yellow gold hinged case, the case is signed on the inside and on the cuvette with the matching numbers for the movement, 384211, so although not signed by Vacheron it wuld indicate that it was cased by Vacheron.[back]another view [view]another view [view], excellent+ Original single sunk enamel dial, subsidiary seconds, sweep chronograph hand. The luminous paint has decayed.. Very rare Vacheron and Constantin military chronograph for the Corps of Engineers in solid gold. In pre WW2 era each branch of the armed forces would be responsible for purchasing certain material. This watch in solid gold may well have been for a General. Very collectible.The case is not signed by Vacheron but the case has the same numbers as the movement .!
