Illinois - 17j,, manual, [movement], excellent+ Yellow gold filled top, stainless steel snapback, fancy lugs, 27mm x 28mm x 37mm[back]another view [view], excellent+ Original dial, with patina, heavier at 2 and 8, subsidiary seconds at 9. Very interesting wristwatch from Illinois, dated to 1928(the first year of the Hamilton takeover) early use of stainless steel in a watch case, probably predates Rolex in this feature.A fine example of american design in the art deco period .! Illinois - 21j,Bunn special 60hr, lever set[movement], excellent+ size 16,Wadsworth gold filled Bunn Special Model, very minor ding in middle of back[back], excellent+ Enamel double sunk dial, some signs of flaking but no cracks or hairlines, blue steeled hands. Very good example of an Illinois "BUNN SPECIAL 60hr" railroad watch from 1925, housed in a Bunn Special case, a notable addition to any collection! (Ref r380)
