(Ref r969) $443 Illinois - 21j, adjusted to temp and 6 positions[movement], excellent+ Star watch case white gold filled screwback case, size 16, [back]another view [view]another view [view], excellent+ Original double sunk Montgomery enamel dial. Subsidiary seconds ,faint hairline at 35m and some damage to the subsidiary seconds.. From 1921 an Illinois "Bunn Special". Minor damage to the dial makes this a good carrying watch . One of the finest American Railroad watches.! (Ref rm1195) $443 Illinois - 21j,Burlington,adjusted,[movement], excellent Burlington yellow gold filled hunter case. Red, white and blue enamel backgrounds to the initials, F L T, perhaps standing for Friendship, Love, Truth, originally from the AOOF and now the IOOF[back], mint double sunk enamel dial, subsidiary seconds,blue steeled hands, the white and blue enamel backgrounds of the letters L and T have small chips. From 1917 this Burlington(a division of Illinois Watch)hunter cased watch is a fine example of a Railroad Grade watch, would not have been approved for railroad use as they had to be open faced! (Ref rq353) $443 Illinois - 21j bunn special,size 18 , lever set[movement], excellent+ chrome plated,size 18, screwback and bezel [back], excellent Enamel double sunk dial, blue steeled hands, hairlines and chips are visible. From 1913 this Illinois "BUNN SPECIAL", size 18 is a good carrying watch because of the dial issues, still a nice watch to use! (Ref r925) $421 Illinois - 19 jewels, adjusted to 3 positions[movement], excellent plain gold filled 3 piece case,slight signs of brassing and 2 small dings on back[back] case,, mint Flawless double sunk enamel dial, subsidiary seconds red 5 minute markers and plum blue steeled hands. a fine high grade watch from Illinois dating to 1919,the movement seems brighter than most Illinois movements i have seen!
